Sample Bequest Language
A bequest to the Community Foundation is simple to make part of your estate plans. You may instruct you legal counsel to include in your will the following statement:
“I give and bequeath _________________________ (dollar amount or percentage of your estate) to the Community Foundation of Western Nevada, a nonprofit organization. This gift of an endowment fund shall be known as ___________________ (whatever name you choose). This fund shall be devoted to the support of the following charitable causes or nonprofit organizations_________________.”
