What we do and do not fund
Honoring our donors' wishes to strengthen our Nevada community is the fundamental principle behind our grant distribution process. Grants from Donor Advised trusts and funds are made throughout the year upon recommendation of the donors. We award competitive Community Partnership grants from the Community Partnership Program Fund once a year through a formal application process. You are invited to learn more about the program here.
Not for profit 501(c) 3 organizations in Nevada, the United States or NGOs with operations throughout the world as long as the organization has a headquarters in the United States. Religious Organizations Endowments Scholarships Not for profit educational institutions: public, parochial, private or public charter.
Gifts to Individuals Purchase of tickets or tables for fundraising events or purchase of auction items at such events Political activities, organizations or lobbying efforts intended to influence legislation Grants directed to for-profit educational institutions (with the exception of scholarships). Grants to networking associations that are not qualified as a 501 (c) 3 organization.
